New to chicken raising

Last spring, around the end of April, my daughter brought a baby chick home from school. It was part of a class project to hatch the eggs and the kids got to keep them. We have absolutely no information about the breed of this chicken and I have been unsuccessful matching it to pictures. It is about 6 months old now.

I am not familiar with it either, could be a mix of some sort. Whatever it is, it's a gorgeous bird and you should be proud of the new addition(s) to the family

X2 and if she is the only bird you have I highly suggest you get her a buddy. Chickens are not solitary animals.

She had a friend originally, but the other did not survive. Planning to add to the flock in the spring.
