Hi all,

I never thought I would have a chicken, much less 8! But I love them all. We had a chicken that showed up at the property last December-Merry Christmas. After several month she stayed with us, so I thought she needed a friend, one thing lead to another, now I have 8. They are adorable, all bantams so cute and small, each with their own personality.

You've already had your first and most important chicken lesson ... you now know how "Chicken Math" works! I'm a bantam mama, too. Love the little biddies! Yours are awfully cute - and I love your run set-up! The flower pots are a really good idea. That way, you can rotate them in and out as they get picked over and picked at. I have a few stray pots of marigolds that are gonna go out to the run tomorrow. Thanks!

Yes, they love the flowers. I barely get them planted and they are gone. Glad they enjoy them <3
