new to chickens and byc - from NH!

hihi - n00b from NH awaiting a few chicks in a couple of weeks from a friend. have a fulltime professional job, have been a half-time soapmaker for 13 years, married with 8 cats and a tarantula, and have been scouring the forum for info for weeks. what a neat group!

i have no chicken experience other than picking up chicks when i was a kid, and seeing them for sale at agway but i'm ready for them!
