Hi everyone!!
My husband and I have been wanting to raise chickens for a while now, and we finally decided to go for it! We currently have 7 leghorns (straight run, we are thinking 2 males 5 females), 7 rhode island red pullets, and 4 barred rock pullets. Our chicks are quickly outgrowing their brooder and the coop is almost done! This is a wonderful site full of very useful information and lovely stories. Enjoy the pics!
Few day old leghorns!
Cute little guys!
few day old reds added to the brood!
learning how to roost
curious (what we believe to be one of the males....this one's comb is a rose colored and is bigger than the others, there is one other like this)
running out of room!
little reds learning how to roost too!
we just got the barred rock today, so no pics yet!
