New to chickens and coops

So my hubby and I decided to get some chickens.So we have started to work our coop which will be named "The Cluckin Inn" only cuz i heard him swearing a time or two building it..lol..

over all size is 9x4 because of the pallet he got from work the was free...6ft tall in the front and 5 in the back will have a door on both sides for cleaning 2 windows in the front and small ones in the back Here are some pic of the making so far. The best thing so far the cost for this $0 all lumber so far was giving to use free..

what is the name of the roof panels you are using?

Don't get too tight a building, chickens need lots of ventilation and you appear to be in a very warm area.

the roof is a green metal roofing that has been laying in the back yard waiting for something to be done with it.. I have to keep reminding the hubby he is only building a chicken coop not a house....
