Welcome. You could also post photos at "what gender or breed is this," you are likely to get a lot more attention there because it is a long, running thread that people are aware of. Even if you post photos here - we'd all take a stab at guessing.

Thanks for posting this link. It was very helpful.

Try laying your hand in there, palm up, with a bit of food on it, and let them check you out on their own time.  They need to learn you are a bringer of food, not a predator, which is what their instincts tell them.
