Hello, and welcome to BYC! Good luck finding a new home for your cockerel. I read your other post, he's a handsome fella. Hopefully someone will want him for their flock.

I list for $5 on CL and I advertise them on local/regional FB Poultry groups as well. When I find someone that wants him and I know he's going to a good home, I decline the money. The money is only to keep the freezer fillers away. If I ever have a mean boy, I will not deny the freezer fillers access to him as that is the most practical solution for human aggressive males.

This is an excellent suggestion. This is probably what I will do once I fully confirm he is a rooster.

I really hope so too. I personally wouldn't mind having a rooster, but my space is limited, and my neighbors would likely take issue with the crowing......plus I am technically not allowed to have one.
