New to chickens, but not to birds

Hey all,
I'm Eden and I raised some Coturnix quail for a while, so I am familiar with birds raised for egg production. Now I'm interested in raising chickens and want to know more about the community! I won't be getting chickens for a few years, but hey, that gives me more time to research this and get more involved. I'm currently interested in Silkies.
