Never heard of a California tan before, but there are all sorts of hybrids out there now, enjoy your new flock and let us know if they all turn out to be hens...

Here are all 8. They are 13 weeks tomorrow. They are a new cross-breed from TSC. I had never heard of them either. I told my husband I wanted chickens this year and he saw them and felt bad so he bought 8 instead of the agreed to 6! No complaints though. I love them all. One girl is pretty silly though and is always doing things that makes no sense.
