New to chickens - Coops - Better to build or buy?

Buy a shed, build one or convert something into one.Like those kids wood play houses.. or vinyl storage buildings etc.. Craig's list is a great place to find what you may need or spark an idea.

Don't waste your money on factory made chicken coops. They are expensive and only good for a few birds, plus, quality and materials...... will never hold up in the real world against the elements or preditors. They would be good for maybe a temp coop, brooder or quarantine quarters and kept inside a barn... but thats it.
