New to chickens, hello from the high desert!

Well I moved up to the High Desert From Riverside CA, and since I now have land I just got my first 5 chickens. I have been lurking this forum for some time, and have decided to join, looking forward to learning lots of new thing here!

Decided to get out of the big city and out here in the desert alright

Now you wont have all that traffic to deal with when you want to go somewhere ....

So what kind of chickens did you get ?????

Well I still work in riverside so I am driving 130+ miles a day in traffic lol
I got one leghorn, one ameracauna, two RIR's, and a black one that is now turning reddish black lol, no clue on its breed.

Wow that is like a 3 hour rive drive one way or that is what it took me to drive to Loma Linda last Tuesday and it was about 140 miles ..
