I'm sorry that I assumed you didn't know that the Cornish were fast growing meat birds.
I assumed you didn't know because you didn't know what sex linked meant.

Ok thanks for explaining. The chair thingy threw me off. I grew up on a farm (years ago) and have always known what the Cornish chickens were for. (So I didn't get attached to them.) But have never heard the term Sexlink.

Sex Links are particular crosses that can be gender identified at birth by their color.
Black sex links = female black - males will be barred (kinda like Barred rocks).
Red sex links = females red - males will be mostly white with some red markings.
