Hi everyone!
My daughter is going to be a Freshman in High School FFA next year. We have had different animals in the past but she is dead set on chickens. I know very little about the breeds so we are still researching good breeds for the hot summers and cool winters here. My husband is a carpenter so he will be building our coops. We are wanting to start with some hearty chickens and possibly add some more exotic breeds when we feel that we have enough experience. We'd love to hear some ideas about breeds that do well in our weather here in Central Texas and good feed and care that you have to offer. Glad to have found you!
