New to chickens in the Hudson Valley!

Hi everyone! I live in the Hudson Valley of New York and we just recently got 6 chickens about 13 weeks ago. 2 sapphire gems, 2 calico princesses, 1 cinnamon queen and 1 buff Orpington. We love them so much and have so much fun watching them around our yard. We are very much looking forward to getting eggs from them very soon!

I have a 7 year old hen who injured her foot as a chick. She lost a nail but she bounced back. She still has a limp but it hasn't slowed her down.
Keep an eye on the toe. Watch for color change in her skin, feel it a few times a day to make sure it isn't hot to touch (infection).
You can give her a half baby asprin if you think she is in pain and repeat in 24 hours if needed. I wouldn't overdo the medicine.
