Hi there,
We just going our first chicks this week.. they are already growing fast. :) We have two Welsummers, two Easter Eggers and a Silver laced Wyndotte.
We now have quite a few chicken related projects to do in the garden.. our house came with a dilapidated old walk in run with a rotten roof. That will be the big project. New roof, new wire and new sand base. Until that's complete our girls will move from the brooder to our Omlet Cube with run that we picked up on Craigslist. :D

I'm sure I will have lots of questions come up pretty soon, so I'm glad to have found this group.

Lastly but by no means least, the members here are amazing - very friendly and helpful, so if you need an answer to a question or simply want some reassurance that what you are doing is ok, then post away - we all help each other out here at BYC.

All the best
