Thank you for the reply, they were in a small crate in the back of his truck, but I don't know how long they were without water. I think he brought them about 25 miles to my land. I will get the coop and run cleaned really good, and move the coop to a different spot, and try this over again. Hopefully the replacement chickens do better.

Did you make sure the feed did not have mold in it. I always dump mine into a container because we have found mold 3 times in new bags. I also look at the mill dates on the bag

Thanks for the reply, I will check the feed. I've never had chickens and didn't know to look for moldy feed. Thank you for the heads up
