Hello,
This is MaryKate and Thomas. We live in PA in a suburb near Philly in a chicken friendly town. We got 6 chickens (they are only a few months old and not laying eggs yet). They are hens, 2 wyandottes, to cochins, and 2 amerecaunas. They are only a few months old. One of the wyandottes is very small compared to the others, and was always smaller and slower and easier to catch than the others. She never seemed sick or anything, though, until a couple of days ago. It's been very hot in PA, high 90s, and our one little girlie (Moona) is very stumbly and having trouble walking, standing up straight, etc. We ordered a couple of things to try (Poultry cell and an all natural chicken antibiotic spray) and aid in this and we have a Vet appointment for this evening, but we were wondering if there is anything you think it could be. We think she may have been a "runt" or not very healthy from the get go but we thought she was a little fighter and got through it. Thank you!
