That's called chicken math!
Chickens can be quite addictive! Medicated feed isn't really an antibiotic, it contains amprollium to help young chicks combat coccidiosis. If they all look healthy with healthy poop (not runny or bloody), you can feed up what you have and switch to starter/grow mash or crumbles.

I want even more. 6 seems like enough though. Although I'm told not to keep more than one rooster so I guess depending on how that goes I'll just replace the rooster with another hen! No bloody poo. It's actually not even really runny anymore. The little ones poo is still a bit runny. I'm hoping to get the organic , no soy, no corn, non gmo feed. Although im still unclear why corn is "bad". All I know is I've become totally and utterly obsessed with my chickens.
