Hi! I'm very new to having chickens and any advice would be helpful and very appreciated! I have 3 buff colored orphies and I just picked up 3 Cochin/silkie mixes. All are under 4 months

Hi! Welcome to BYC! There are a lot of friendly people here, just watch out, chickens are addicting!
I've never had Cochin/Silkies, but I have Silkies and I've had Buff Orpingtons for a long time. They are great birds! (Actually the buffs are my all-around favorite breed.) So you made a good choice there!![]()
If you need any specific advice, you can start another thread asking about it. Until then, have fun with your birds -free range if you can safely, give them yummy treats and kitchen scraps along with their chicken feed, and make sure they have water! (That sounds obvious, but coming from Arizona, you'd be shocked how often we have to fill the water containers!) Have fun with your chickies!
