New to chickens

Hello,

My name is Jane. I am 12 years old, 13 in August.

I'm not gonna get chickens for at least a few months since i want to know as much as possible first.

I have lots of questions i hope to get answers to, thank you

Have you checked out the Learning Center above, it is the best place to start a poultry education. It's nice to meet you Jane. Welcome to Backyard chickens. I started out showing my dog when I was 12. He was not show quality and we lost all the time. I stuck with it and in my twenties was breeding show dogs and had- several champions.
