We have 1 Buff Orp, 1 ISA Brown, 2 RIR, 2 Astralorps, 2 Saphire Gems. 8-12 weeks old.

Darn it!!! I did not!!! In my excitement that first day I dropped 1 of the 2 first eggs!

I think I held and stared at my first egg for a good week before it was eaten.
At least a good week.

Every time I walked in to the kitchen I had to touch it.

Totally get that! Made my first few eggs for my husband to take to work for breakfast the other day but not before I made both our teenage/men sons try them!!!! We all stood around the pan just watching them cook!!!

We have 2. They look a bit raptorish but they are beautiful!
