I’m looking at houses in western PA. My sister has had various breeds each year, I can’t recall what they were. What are some good breeds for that area, cold winter, somewhat hot summer.

Hello, welcome to Backyard Chickens! Plymouth Rocks, Buff Orpingtons, Red Sex Links and Easter Eggers are some nice breeds and hybrids that can tolerate both heat and cold.
