We got 3 pullets in Jan. They are essentially free range, but are in their coop at night. We were told they would start laying in March. We really don't care about eggs. We like them as pets. As it turns out, we have 2 boys and a girl. So far they get along okay, but I am worried about the future. The girl just started laying and has 2 eggs. She is sitting on them. I am really not sure what to do. Suggestions?

Hi and welcome to BYC. Some cock birds are fine together - others will not be. Either ways, just one cockbird and two pullets is not a good ratio, imo.

This is a useful link of “How to” BYC guides to take a look at announcements-feedback-issues-guides.3. I’d suggest including your location using the guide in the link. You can use this link to contact members in your area - Find your State's thread.

Best wishes
