That was an endearing song dedicated to Nancy!!!Nice to meet you Suzy. I am a Nancy.
I am an old girl so I hope you don't mind me recalling something from my early years. There was a popular song "If you knew Susie like I knew Susie. Oh, Oh, Oh what a girl!
At least you got a nice song. The only one for me was "Nancy with the laughing face," which was in reference too Nancy Sinatra.
Welcome to the forums.. I rarely meet bee keepers.. I really admire you guys..I know thats extremely patience draining. keep up the good work..We moved to the country two years ago. I was so excited about the move and anxious to have some chickens because I love home grown eggs. My husband was reluctant to get them until last Christmas. He gave me a chicken coop for Christmas. We have a Pecan orchard. We crack and shell a lot of pecans and have a misture of small pieces of pecans and small shell. We were wondering if it would be good to give to the chickens so I googled it and your site came up. Seems the pecans and little bits of shell will be OK for them. We also are bee keepers and have a couple of cats. The chickens complained a lot when the cats came around but they seem to be use to them now. I only got 5 chickens but one of them is a Easter Egger and three are Americanas and I dont know the variety of the other one. I have only had them Three days so they haven't laid any eggs yet. We are also bee keepers. May give them a little honey. It is good to have someone to ask questions.
