New to chickens

Hi, we have a small flock of 11 chickens and 7 chicks. We got our first batch of chicks in March after moving out to the country and finally having space for chickens. The house we moved into already had one chicken in the backyard and we really enjoyed having her around, and loved the fresh eggs so we added more chickens. We found our first egg today from our original batch of chicks so it's been an exciting day. They grow up so fast! We have had just a few issues along the way and found BYC very helpful and solved our chicken questions. So thought we would join. We really like spending time with our girls, they each have their own personalities.
