New to chickens

Hi! I am very new to chickens. A year ago if you told me that I would have chickens, I would think you are crazy. After thinking about it I decided to get chicks. I have 4 chickens that are 5 weeks old. I have 1 buff Orpington, 2 Barred rocks, and 1 Black Australorp . It is definitely a helpful way to stay busy. I like to just watch them and see how happy they are when I take them outside. As far as other hobbies, I am pretty busy with school, but I have also started gardening. I have a 1 yr old chihuahua who unfortunately wants to each my chickens, so I have to keep him away. He is really sweet and playful but for some reason he doesn’t like the chickens. I am looking forward to receiving advice from chicken experts!
