New chicken keeper question….when do I start providing grit and sand for dust baths?

My babies have had soldier fly larvae all their lives. Not meally worms but the product from CanadaI’ve got them on organic chick starter and moonlight mile herb farms first steps chicken tonic.
I haven’t given them any treats except some greens from the garden. Do you have any treats you reccomend? And do they need grit with the treats?
