New to Chickens

Some photos of the chicks. The browns are the mystery birds. There are two that are a more rusty tone with less white flicking and the other 4 are the darker brown. I can get clearer pictures tomorrow.

New chicken keeper question….when do I start providing grit and sand for dust baths?

Never too early to supply a dust bath for your babies. Be sure you provide the best chick feed you can find (don’t over feed them with treats) you want them to grow up healthy and strong. Welcome to the coop! :frow

I’ve got them on organic chick starter and moonlight mile herb farms first steps chicken tonic.

I haven’t given them any treats except some greens from the garden. Do you have any treats you reccomend? And do they need grit with the treats?

My babies have had soldier fly larvae all their lives. Not meally worms but the product from Canada 🇨🇦. Grit? Tiny chicks, tiny grit (they will know what they need.
