Welcome to BYC! Will this be your first time raising chicks?

Yes first time! Place we bought came with a predator-proof coop - just needs a good cleaning & nesting material - And my husband is looking at getting guineas & a couple geese & maybe a couple ducks to start with them together- but may be getting in over our heads with 4 different species & different requirements to learn all at once. Do they all need separate coops?? Hoping to free range during the day and just use the coop for sleeping- ?

We have two small ponds & one large that wild ducks already frequent (don’t know if that’s a good thing or bad thing…) ? But I’m hoping that will keep the geese & ducks (& if we get ducks) happy.
