New to chickens

I'm a mom and a Waldorf teacher, living in WY. We are building a preschool and I have gotten into raising chickens as a part of my preschool program. I am enjoying it... And my kids are loving it!LOL We even have a few from my daughter's school that they hatched as part of a science unit this year. I am officially chicken obsessed now, I think I will always have a few!

Welcome to BYC would love to have the kids blog their chicken news on here. Love my chickens. As an ex teacher I can se how this could lead to lots of discussions, predicting when they will lay, making bar graphs of egg laying progress, writing chicken stories, voting on a name, cleaning etc. Have fun.
