New to chickens

Hi, we have got 2, 16 week old chickens, had them for a couple of days, they are in the run and coop, how long before we can let hem out to run free range during the day around the garden?

Generally a week or so to get them used to the idea of the coop being their home. I would leave them out an hour or so before sunset the first few times. The short amount of time won't allow them to wander too far from home and allow them to get the lay of the land. You can leave them out longer as you and they get more confident.
