i have a coop with run but its mesh on the top of the run and it sits on grass how would i keep the run clean and dry the best ,i no u can get the covers for them but thy are to much money

After a short while the grass under the coop and in the run will be gone. Then you can add sand about 4 inches deep. The chickens will keep it turned over all the time so that you don't have to clean it.

thanks ,what would be the best sand we have builders sand which is a bit sharper would tha do or do u have to get treated stuff
