New to chickens

Hi all...I am anxious to get chickens and build my chicken coop...I am in cecil county and was wondering what the requirements or rules are for having backyard chickens . I have downloaded the zoning links but I got a headache looking for my answer..hoping someone from cecil county can give me an answer

BYC has a very useful learning center

Ya zoning is a pain but you can go to your state trend and ask someone there about your area and if you look at the top of the page you should be able to find the search box and type in your state and it will take you to the right spot to do all your asking .....

You can also call your local city hall and ask them. They will know all you need to know or can tell you who to talk to about finding out.
