Silkies re a very nice chicken and great for people just starting out for the first time but the best advice I can give is having your poultry secure for safety reasons as chickens are only pray to other animals also you will want to look up newtrition for poultry as cracked core is a favorate candy for chickens and they do like it you really do need to give other feeds for better health ...

Ok so i finally got my first chicks 2 amerucana 1 rhode island red and 1 barred rock. I am loving it.
