Why would the chicken lady at a store would recommend it, if its not good for them??

At a lot of stores, the employees aren't nearly as knowledgeable as they let on. It's sad, but true. Best to read books or find experienced sources elsewhere

the chicken math is winning. a lot of farmers around where I live and they keep offering me free/cheap chicks. the most popular around here are white leghorns and RIRs so I might get a couple of them! if I find any dominiques i'm DEFINATLY getting some!! sooo yeah chicken math is uhh winnin..... by a lot ...
