New to chicks

Hi, we just got our day old chicks this morning. We have 6 new babies and they seem to be doing fine. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I do love all the info on here.

Thanks for the welcome. We have 4 red sex links and I think the other two are leghorns but not sure. They are eating and drinking well. Just a little worried about tonight.

When you say you are worried about tonight..are they going outside? Make sure that nothing can get into their area. Maybe bring them in at night until they are older, and they can't squeeze through small openings.

They are staying inside. I'm just a bit worried about them. You would think that after 3 kids, 3 dogs and 2 cats that I would be use to caring for small things but they are just so small. I will get over it soon. Just want everything to go well. Thanks.
