New to chicks

I haven't had chickens since I was a kid I'm 60 and I have one little peep same age as all the rest of them 3 weeks and it still fits at the palm of my hands I took notice that she wasn't able to get to the feeder in the water or so I started using a q-tip dipping it in the water and giving it to her and then putting her beside the feed and she would eat but it seems like she was dehydrated and her wings spread out her breathing is labored. How can I help this little chick

Hello, and welcome to BYC. Continue as you are to rehydrate the chick. Some liquid vitamin supplement/Pedialyte/Gatorade might help rejuvenate the chick. Good luck.

Hello, welcome to BYC. I like @sourland 's advice. Best of luck to you and your chick.
I've used poly-vi sol vitamins for infants (the kind without iron) just use the dropper and put a drop on the beak once a day. This along with some scrambled egg, often perks them up.
