new to chicks!

Hello, my name is Sara and I am VERY new to owning chicks. I have 5 babies and have NO clue what breeds they are. Once I get a chance to photo them I will post pics to see if anyone can shed light on that for me. Right now they are in a rabbit cage with a red light and cardbaord around the cage for drafts and to help cut the curiousity down from my lab who seems to want to eat them. does anyone have the same problem? How do I get my dog to play nice? Thanks!

Definitely be careful with the dog! And take pics when you can, they grow SO incredibly fast.

Welcome from Florida. Keep a close eye on the lab. You're going to have to do some serious training, and then still keep watch. He/she may just want to play,but they dont realize their power. Be firm in your training and be persistant.
