I am new to the whole raising chickens thing..but my aunt brought me a chick from tractor supply I don't know how old it is what's it's gender I know nothing about raising chickens let alone baby chicks I need all the help I can get

I agree. Chicks need a friend.I'm sorry, that is just why people should not SURPRISE someone with a live animal, when they don't have any of the provisions needed to raise them.
It is probably a couple of days old if she got it at a feed store, it will need a brooder box, draft free, with a heat lamp, and wire top to keep it in the box and prevent others from harming it. Chickens are very social animals and do best with a buddy or two. In lieu of that you can provide a mirror, so the chick thinks its not alone, a small stuffed toy to cuddle with. Also chick starter food and water dish. If you raise it as an only chick, it will bond with you - cute for now but, annoying when you leave the room and it starts cheeping for you.
