New to chix: excited for first flock this spring!

Brand new chicken keeper from the Black Hills of SD USA. So excited to have our first flock this coming spring! Have no breeds yet, but hoping to have a bit of an ecclectic mixed flock, something like 10-15ish chickens made up of 1-3 chickens of a variety of breeds. (But I'm not sure how crazy that is. I'll be posting in the forums looking for advice soon. ) When not hanging with chickens, also like hiking with our pups, disc golfing, and playing board games. Joined BYC after it popping up in a few google searches in the chicken research process.
