New to DE. Anyone use it on for their dogs....... any advice please??

I have tried DE for fleas and it was just so- so (I dusted the dogs). Right now I am using capstar on my pregnant dog and flea combing her EVERY day.

My other dog gets comfortis. I can't stand fleas and they are rampant where I live. I also vaccum all the time and wash their bedding.
I think my cavalier has a flea allergy so it is important to me to keep them at bay.

I do love DE in the chicken coop for absorbing moisture and my chickens have stayed mite/lice free for two years with the exception of my big rooster.

Thanks - I am using it in the shed and am pleased with the results there. I have not put it on the dogs so far.
