New to duck incubation, and I need a little help.

I went home and checked on them. Still have power and the wind has calmed to a dull roar.

Isis has made no progress but is very active. She is still in the same position as yesterday so I don't think she will be hatching on her own.

I also have another pip on the right end of the egg.

Smart baby there.

I tried to set up the cam to broadcast but I have some playing to do to get it to work. I left work to let the dogs out and was taking way to much time away from the station so I had to head back and give up for now. Thankfully the touchy puter is charging with the new cord as long as a strong breeze doesn't come by

I officially get out of work at midnight so I will be heading home and not staying here for the night. I am sure I will lose out on ot but eh my babies are worth it. I will try and give another update tonight when I get home. I am so worried about Isis but she is strong and peeping up a storm at me so it gives me hope. What also gives me hope is there is a second pip so I am hoping she has absorbed her yolk if I have to help tonight. I am standing by the time line of 48 hours of no hatch or distress before I go in and get her.

Aww thank you. I can't wait get home and see her. I didn't get back to the station until 02:30 this morning because I spent all the time trying to get my live stream working. Which btw worked fine when I was home and once I got to work the channel went offline.

Still waiting here. I do however have another chick that popped out last night. Today is day 20 on the chickens and day 27 on the ducks.

Oh no, I just had a thought...I was told they were runner/khaki crosses. What if they are Muscovy?

Okay, so I am at 3 Call Ducks, 4 Aussie Spotteds, another Spotted that is likely going to need help out.
1 Pip. And I still have 4 eggs that have not even internally pipped, but have good movement.

Unfortunately, I had 2 Call duck eggs that died after they internally pipped.
There doesn't seem to be any excess fluid in the egg, and the yolk is absorbed. So, huh?

So summed up: 7 in the brooder. 1 zipped. 1 pipped. 4 eggs still cooking...
