Hi Ya'll. We got a call yesterday from a friend who had a mother and baby ducks who had taken up residence in her mostly drained pool. She had originally intended just to let them do their thing since they weren't using the pool right now but then yesterday the neighbors dog came over and got ahold of the mom so she brought the babies to our farm hoping to release them at our pond fearing that the pup might return. They look to me to be only a week or two old and to young to be without their mother in the wild so I but them inside with the peeps that I currently have brooding in my house. I have never raised ducklings and I am doing as much research as I can with this having been a surprise happening yesterday but if you guys can give me some tips/tricks/must haves. I want to try to do all I can for these little guys. Thanks so much in advance.

Yes they are wild and I believe they are mallards.

I'd call animal rescue.. You don't want to get in trouble for "taking " Birds from the wild. Hatcheries clip off part of the feet of mallards to protect customers.
Aww sure look like mallards so precious.

You can also call a water fowl rescue or fish and wild life they will take them to rear and teach them how to live in the wild.
