New to Ducklings

Update! Here is their new setup, I found a disposable grill pan and a cookie sheet at the dollar store that fit together, and made the new waterer. So far so good... though when they're a little bigger I'll have to change it again. Pictures, plus one just for cuteness :)

Dollar store here I come! Great re-purposing, no rusting or cleaning, just get another one and recycle the used one. When they are bigger they might be too heavy, but looks like you might be able to just add one more and use one for food & one for water?

This great information and pictures. The last picture is adorable!
I am new to raising ducks. I am about to receive 15 baby ducks- Rouen, Silver Appleyard, Cayuga and Pekin next week.
What is the material you have on the floor of the brooder. It looks woven.

It's non-slip shelf liner on top of newspapers. The newspaper absorbs the mess but is really slippery, so the shelf liner gives them better footing and keeps them up off the soggy areas. At some point I'll probably switch to wood shavings.
