New to ducks, lings keep dying!

Here in Alberta I can buy Duck feed at UFA....
Pine shavings are fine for Ducks....Ticks also can be an issue as well as West Nile....Not sure what your dealing with?...Also something called waisting Duckling disease or something like that....?

Pine shavings are definitely not the problem. That is all we have every used for ducklings. Are they getting too cold? What are your overnight temps? How old are they?

5 weeks, it's staying around 20 at night, well within reason for ducklings of this age, and again they have had a foster mum to keep them warm too, they all snuggle up

Not heat either .....I have tiny Calls outside at night with Momma and our over night lows are 8C.....
