NEW TO DUCKS, Pekin, Mallard and maybe a khaki campbell...?

Here's an update on my babies, think you all recall about 7-8wks ago, I became a Duckling Mama....they were 3 days old...



Well here they are now, growing up BEAUTIFUL!!!

Cooper Bigger Pekin Real chatty, FEMALE!!!! has male name

Arizona Drake quite yeah female name...I was wrong on what they were when I named them...thought the quite one's were females....

They are now just getting there QUACKS in...closer to 8wks

For the Pekins when you start to see a curl on the tail you will know thats your boy, and the female pekin will be louder than ( More Raspy sounding ) than the male pekin.
There is another way to sex them I have found to be more helpful.

Turn them around with their bottom facing you lift their tail and push on either side of the vent, if something comes out you have a male if nothing or inverted something is there its a female

Yeah know that....just never vent sexed them when I got them...lol...and not about to now!
