Hello, I am Lisa and my family and I (more me) are going to be bringing our babies home today and I look forward to learning all I can. I have put together a brooder box in the house since the NY weather is still chilly. My husband is going to build a coop for me and would love to know what works best for Upstate NY winters.

Hope everyone has a Chick Day!
Lisa

Hello Lisa and welcome to BYC!

How EGG-citing!! What breeds of chicks are you getting today?

You will want to do some reading in our learning center here on BYC on taking care of your new babies. I will include the link to the care of your babies and the learning center itself that contains so many articles on all the aspects of keeping your new brood...
