New To Everything Chickens!

Hello, I am Lisa and my family and I (more me) are going to be bringing our babies home today and I look forward to learning all I can. I have put together a brooder box in the house since the NY weather is still chilly. My husband is going to build a coop for me and would love to know what works best for Upstate NY winters.
