Hello to all! Have a question, I live off grid getting peeps soon was wondering how I could keep them warm? I do have solar. Any advice would be great. I live in a very cold climate. Close to Canada.

A dry, well ventilated coop. Added heat is usually not necessarily a good idea for grown birds, chicks is a different story.

Most do not heat coops for chickens. Many insulate tough. Chickens have a lot of feathers so cold is not as bad as heat.

Welcome to BYC. By peeps do you mean chicks ? If so they need to be kept very warm initially - 90 F. Can you postpone getting them or start with older birds ?
