So yesterday my fiance bought me 2 Buff Geese hens. Both are very sweet and protective over each other. They have laid for one season so I am guessing a year-ish old.
Any other info on them would be great, I have them in with my chickens, ducks, turkeys and guinea fowl, so far so good everyone is getting along and the two Geese girls are behaving well. Even locked themselves to bed last night without being shown.

Beautiful geese. Congrats!

Geese are grass grazers, so access to grass, fresh greens, or even grass hay is important for their diet and mental health. It is also important to supplement their diet with calcium during laying season. Otherwise, they are pretty easy to care for. Hope you enjoy them.

If they've layed for a season then their coming 2 year olds at least. Not that that's old, geese can easily live into their late teens to mid twenties. If they go to nesting in the spring they'll claim the shed and keep everybody else out.
